Yamaha SZ-R: sporty feel to commuter motorcycle segment

MAW Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. has presented sporty version of Yamaha SZ-X with its new Yamaha SZ-R. The powerful, comfortable and stylish 153cc Yamaha SZ-R is targeted at commuter customers with their sports-oriented interests and is designed to create the sensation of “High Speed”. The bike comes with front disc brake, tachometer and has tank protector added to the fuel tank to make it appear even larger. Furthermore, the shroud of the standard SZ-X model is replaced by an aerodynamic spoiler that extends out boldly and is given the same silver coloring as the side covers. The bike also has clear lens flasher, colored handle grip end bar, painted muffler end caps along with special graphics.

To boost the launch and develop higher product awareness, there is the “Upgrade Yourself” campaign with the introduction of this motorcycle. The pricing of SZ-R has been placed at NRs. 181,900 and according to the press release issued by the company—this pricing is introductory offer that will run for a limited period only. MAW has opened test ride services from all Yamaha dealers. The test riders visiting MAW showrooms are entitled to be selected via lucky draw and three winners will receive NRs. 50,000 as first prize, NRs. 30,000 as second prize and NRs. 20,000 as third prize respectively.

The company is confident with its new product Yamaha SZ-R as the motorcycle’s aerodynamics, stylish graphics and three available color options of Quality Red, Quality Black and Quality white is expected to catch the eyes of both entry level bikers and avid riders as well. The company press release states, “ For the consumer who is willing to upgrade from 125cc segment to the 150cc segment for better pickup, more power & style within affordable price, the new Yamaha SZ-R is the smartest upgrade option”. There is also a 5 years warranty on this bike.
